Kamene Goro weds lover DJ Bonez in private ceremony [PHOTOS]

Popular radio host Kamene Goro has wed DJ Bonez after a long engagement.

Kamene’s former radio coworker and close buddy Jalang’o confirmed the news of their nuptials.

On Thursday night, Jalang’o congratulated the couple on their love and marriage in an Instagram post.

Love is a wonderful thing, right? Greetings on your wedding day, Deejay Bonez and my sister Kamene Goro! Jalang’o wrote, “I love you guys.

About six months have passed since DJ Bonez’s marriage proposal to her.

In September, DJ Bonez proposed to Kamene by getting down on one knee. Judging from her enthusiastic social media posts about the sparkling rock she received, it appears that she accepted his proposal.

Speaking during her morning show on Kiss FM, earlier this year, Kamene said they met each other many years back.

In a video shared by Kiss FM, Kamene said they hated each other before they started dating.

“We became official two years ago. We knew each other six or seven years ago. Hizo zingine hatukua tunaongeana. We didn’t like each other at all. We started with beef! It was a mad beef. He used to say I am a ratchet,” Kamene said.

How Kamene, Bonez got engaged

In September 2022, the lovebirds went to Diani with their couple of friends and they both shared photos and videos flaunting ‘wedding’ rings.

In a series of videos, Kamene flashed her two huge gold rings, among them her engagement ring.

“Something happened last night…” Kamene captioned one of the videos.

Bonez also shared a video, unwrapping a present gifted by a fan, flaunting his ring.

Kamene also shared a hotel bed full of red roses and a heart shape in the middle.

Fans and friends of the lovebirds flooded their social handles with congratulatory messages.

Kamene’s relationship is working out

Previously, during a Q & A session with her fans on Instagram, one fan asked Kamene about her relationship with DJ Bonez.

“How is your new relationship?

You seem so happy,” the fan wrote.

“It is working out so well. I’m so happy,” Kamene responded.
