“Leo kuna nduru gizani”: Disappointed Andrew Kibe reacts to Kamene Goro’s wedding

Andrew Kibe has finally reacted to his former colleague Kamene Goro’s private wedding that took place earlier today.

Taking to his official Twiter account, Kibe expressed his disappointment saying:

Former KISS FM presenter Kamene Goro on Thursday got married to her fiancé DJ Bonez.

The two, who have been together for two years, got married at a wedding event attended by family and close friends.

The couple got engaged in 2022 in Diani. They had known each other long before then but they hardly spoke.

“I have known him for like five or six years. We did not like each other at all. We had mad beef, he used to say I’m ratchet,” Kamene said during a KISS breakfast show.

They were celebrating the relationship’s second anniversary at that time.

“I always advocate for one thing, ‘good love’,” Kamene said.

Kamene’s former co-presenters at KISS FM, Lang’ata MP Phelix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o and Oga Obinna attended the wedding.

Jalang’o took to Instagram to congratulate her for the milestone.

“Love is a beautiful thing! Congratulations my sister Kamene Goro and DJ Bonez on your wedding day! Love you guys,” he posted on Thursday.

Andrew Kibe opens up on his relationship with Goro

A few weeks ago, Andrew Kibe made it clear that he never slept with Kamene Goro while they were still friends and working together.

The controversial US-based content creator while speaking on his podcast said that Kamene is not his type.

Kibe explained that he loves his women slim, adding that if the voluptuous Kamene was a bit slender he would have slept with her a long time ago.

“Wacha niwaambie ukweli Menje kama hangekuwa mnono hivyo ningekuwa nishaibomoa kitambo sana. Yeah but unajua mi ni mtu wa maslim. Like those three chestless, wale the young and the chestless. Hao naweza wafuliza onetime. Hao hata I would ask them to come in one Uber wakifanya tu TikTok videos,” Kibe said.

Andrew Kibe and his former radio partner Kamene Goro started their radio careers at NRG Radio when it was launched. The two were paired to host the morning drive when the station went on air for the first time on March 1, 2018.

The duo worked together until June 2019 when they jointly quit NRG Radio after being poached by Kiss FM.

Kamene and Kibe were supposed to officially begin working at Kiss FM on July 1, 2019, but NRG dragged them to court for violating a non-compete clause in their contracts.

The two stayed off the air until September 2019 when they went on air at Kiss FM.

The duo worked together at Kiss FM until June 30, 2020, when Andrew Kibe officially quit to start his own internet radio.

Kibe and Kamene fell out after he left Kiss FM. Kibe started bashing Kamene on his podcast marking the beginning of their beef.

Kamene also quit Kiss FM on January 27, 2023. Speaking to vloggers after hosting her last show, she said that Kibe and her used to be good friends but the friendship was affected when she failed to leave Kiss FM with him in 2020.

“Kibe was my friend and I think when he left here, he had an expectation that I would leave with him. It did not settle well with him that my life took a different turn,” Kamene said.

Kamene added that her beef with him began when he started ruining her reputation. She further stated that she found Kibe’s content distasteful.
