“Mama anajua nilipanda mbegu” – KRG the Don accepts another 18-year-old boy as his son

The musician KRG the Don has now acknowledged Brighder, who remarkably resembles him, is his son.

KRG declared that he was done rejecting his children in an interview with Vincent Mboya.

“Sitaki nijitetee sana kwa sababu mtu ambaye anajitetea ndo amefanya makosa,” KRG said.

“So umekubali huyo kijana anaweza kukua labda ni kijana wako? (So you admit the teen could be yours?) Mboya asked KRG.

The musician at first beat around the bush before finally agreeing that Brighder is his son.

“Labda, mimi sijui. Unajua sisi ni wanaume. Sisi huwa tunapanda mbegu na mbegu huwa inakaa kwa shamba. Shamba ni mama, mama ndo anajua nani alipanda mbegu kwenye shamba langu,” KRG said.

He continued by saying that Brighder’s only request was to spend time with his father and had no other requests.

In a previous interview, the 18-year-old stated that all he wanted was to experience his father’s love and not be treated like an outsider.

“Kwa hio sasa kama mtu hajakuja na nia mbaya, hajakuja kuseme anataka nigawiwe kitu fulani nataka tu kukuwa na baba na ni watu wazima hawa wanaweza kujifanyia kazi si mi ntawaonyesha tu muelekeo wa maisha bas alafu mambo ingine tutapambana kwa pilipili na ndimu,” KRG said.

“So sasa hivi Brighder ako na good news kuwa KRG tayari ashampatia tick kabisa? (So Brighder right now has the good news that KRG has already accepted him as his son?) Mboya asked KRG.

KRG told Mboya Brighder was indeed his son, adding that he couldn’t deny his children anymore.

“Ehh kwa sababu sioni ni mbaya. Kuna watu wanatamani watoto mbaka wengine wanaiba watoto wa watu. Mimi nina watoto wananitafuta sasa mbona mimi nikatae?” KRG posed.

The musician revealed that he stopped denying his children after elders in his family intervened and asked him to welcome the kids to his family and give them some of the property they own across the country.

“Nilikua nakataa lakini sahi mahali imefika wazee wa nyumbani wamesema lete hio watoto tuko na mashamba mingi tutawagawia. Wengine upande wa Narok, wengine wataenda upande wa Mombasa, wengine wataenda upande wa Nanyuki, wengine wataenda upande wa Naivasha, wengine wataenda upate wa Kisii. Hio pahali yote tuko na property. Wengine wataenda mbaka uko upande ya Uganda. Tutaenda kuwaweka huko wafanye kazi kwa sababu hawatafuti shida wanatafuta tu mwelekeo wa maisha,” KRG said.

KRG’s decision to stop denying his children came after his alleged 19-year-old daughter Yvonne gave up on trying to make him own up that he is her biological father – this after he refused to take a DNA test.
