Martha Karua breaks silence after William Ruto’s victory

Martha Karua, the vice presidential candidate for Azimio, has spoken out following the announcement of William Ruto as the winner by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

Karua asserted in a tweet that the conflict is ongoing.

“It is not over till it is over,” she tweeted on Monday.

IEBC chairperson Wafula Chebukati announced the results and stated that Raila Odinga had lost by a margin of 1.65%.

Ruto received 7,176,141 votes, or 50.49 percent of the total valid ballots, compared to Raila’s 6,942,930 votes, or 48.85 percent.
