Meet Latifah Musa, the Lady who keeps a huge snake for money: “‘Nyoka wa Pesa”

Latifah Musa, a Tanzanian woman, recently shared the shocking story about a snake she keeps for money.

In a short interview with Bongo Touch, she revealed that her pet named ‘Nyoka wa Pesa’ holds a significant history and is believed to bring good fortune.

“Mimi binafsi nimeumia kwa sababu mimi ndio nategemewa kwenye familia… Nilipambana sana na ndio maana hata nilitamani kujiingiza kwenye ukahaba ili nipate pesa,” Latifah noted.

Latifah attributed her choice to adopt a snake as a pet to the difficult financial situation she found herself in. Being the sole breadwinner for her family, she encountered various hardships.

“Nilipatana na huyo rafiki yangu akaniambia kwamba kuna sehemu mimi nitakupeleka kama huogopi na wewe utatoka……. na ndio hiyo unamwona huyu nyoka……..Kuna sehemu kwa mtaalamu na utafanikiwa kila kitu sikuamini kwa haraka kwa sababu ilikua ngumu mwanzo” Latifa shared.

Despite her initial reluctance, she ultimately decided to give it a chance, which ended up positively transforming her life, as she later acknowledged.
