Stephen Kasolo praises his wife, explains why he keeps her private
Kamba singer Stephen Kasolo praises his wife for cleaning him up and enjoying life as a married man, addressing rumors and mourning the loss of longtime friend Mercy Mawia.
“We used to joke alot, we were so close. I was in Kitui with her and she hugged me. We chatted last week, and we always share audios or videos of events. It is a sad loss to us”
The singer, born in Mombasa, recently married and left behind a child.
“sitaishi vile mafans wanataka. If you see a celebrity alone, you don’t know the reason. Maybe they are at work, ama pengine wameachana, ama pengine hataki mwanamke wake aonekane na watu. Have you ever seen Churchill’s wife? Simjui. So inategemea tu”
He acknowledged that lives of celebrities are subject to online discussions
“Mafans saa zingine si lazima mtuambie vile tunaishi. Keep your comments, keep your nonsense. Msieke maneno kwa moyo. Maana itawaumiza.Mke wangu kaniosha.”
Giving his wife credit for their beautiful marriage, he said “God has really blessed me. She is so beautiful, Wa Kamba hatuoangi sura mbaya. If you are Kamba, you must marry a girl who ambaye ata kukandua.”
Why doesn’t he show up in public with her?
“Sitaishi vile ma fans wanataka. Wengine wanaongea sana, na wengine hata hawana mabibi. If you see a celebrity alone, it is none of your business where their spouse is. You don’t know the reason they are alone.”
He brushed off rumors saying
“Sasa nikitembea na yeye atakuwa wako? Nikitembea na yeye atakuletea nini? Kwa nini tuwachane? Tuko sawa.”
He said he doesn’t listen to rumormongers “Utaumia!”
