“I used to earn 200 bobs per day” – Linet Toto reveals she worked as househelp before joining politics

The recently elected woman lawmaker for Bomet County, Linet Chepkorir alias Toto, attended JKL last night along with other young politicians.

Linet mentioned other unusual jobs she’s completed in the past.

She claimed that she started working as a hawker and a chips vendor right away after graduating from school.

“I graduated last year in procurement. I started selling clothes in Bomet where I was employed by someone there. I left that and started selling chips in a certain hotel. I used to earn 200 bobs per day,” she said.

“All along I have been a leader, that is from childhood, primary school, high school, and even in college and even in the church. I knew immediately after my graduation I was going to vie for this particular position.”

Linet thanked her parents for endorsing and supporting her dreams.

“They are very proud of me. They have a politician daughter. I want to thank them for endorsing me.”
