Kenyan Genge artist Mejja Okonkwo has secured a lucrative contract with the alcohol brand Captain Morgan as he prepares to release his debut album before the end of the year.
The brand will use the Kenyan Genge star as its main influencer thanks to their partnership.
Mejja will participate in Captain Morgan events actively for eight months while fervently promoting the essence of the brand on his powerful social platforms.
At the launching celebration held at the Greenspot Gardens, Kennedy Mutula, the marketing manager for Spirits East Africa Breweries, said:
