She said on a tweet:

“In 2017 when barely anyone knew we existed, we found our space in the arena. Farasi ni mmoja, tutapita kati kati yao. Kirinyaga Kwanza✅ Finishing Strong✅ Governor 2022✅ Independent✅.”

Dennis Itumbi, deputy President William Ruto’s digital strategist, had previously reported that Ngirici will join Jubilee on Friday.

Itumbi stated that the MP was one of many who were convinced to join the ruling Jubilee Party ahead of the August 9 elections.

On social media, rumors of a possible defection to the Jubilee party have been circulating.

Allies of the Jubilee party have hinted to a huge political earthquake, implying that major defections are possible.

To allow people to join the party, the ruling party has extended the deadline for nomination registration to Friday, March 25.

The Registrar of Political Parties has designated March 26 as the last day for applicants to join a political party.
