Renowned Human Rights Activist Boniface Mwangi has accused operatives of the state of blowing up his family home, that was undergoing construction in Lukenya, Machakos County.
In a series of tweets on Wednesday night, Boniface Mwangi alleged that state operatives visited his home, blew it up and stole from the workers on site.
According to Mwangi, he believes he is being punished for his criticism of the State and some powerful politicians in the country.
The activist noted that he is “hurting” since his family had invested massive resources in the project.

He has invited the police and other investigative agencies to visit the scene and probe the matter, adding that he is keen on ensuring the guilty parties are held accountable.
By press time, none of the accused parties had responded to the claims made by Boniface Mwangi.
Below are tweets and videos by Boniface Mutua on the alleged incident:
I'm hurting, but my spirit isn't broken. Even this will pass. In a few hours, the day will break & it will be the work of @IG_NPS @InteriorKE @ODPP_KE @DCI_Kenya to open investigations. If the government doesn’t go after the culprits, they shall survive to hunt me and hurt others. pic.twitter.com/e8NRIxjU5K

I’m a resident of Machakos County. An hour ago, @DrAlfredMutua thugs have bombed my house (under construction), sank the foundation and robbed my workers. I can’t go there now for safety reasons. I know it’s Mutua because he is a molestor. & an abusive man. He won’t silence me! pic.twitter.com/x0NWwaRHCl
