“I expected a car/house”: Ndindi Nyoro lookalike complains MP gave him Sh100K only

Earlier last week, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro met his lookalike Joshua Kiprop Chemei after the latter appealed for his help.

Taking to his social media accounts on Wednesday, Nyoro shared photos of them together in his office saying investigations had started into their roots.

“It was a lovely afternoon connecting with “my brother” Mr Joshua Kiprop Chemei (MC Chemei) in our office. A very talented MC and Gospel artist from Nandi County,” he said.

“Uchunguzi umeanza tuone namna gani. Ama niaje wakuu? (Investigations have begun to establish what’s up) We are African and Africa is our Business,” the MP said.

After the meeting, the legislator gave him some cash as expected of a politician.

Chemei has now come out to complained that he didn’t receive the help he needed from MP.

In an interview with a local media outlet, the musician received Ksh100,000 only from Nyoro.

“That was a little amount considering that I embarrassed myself and even our governor and area MP by holding that placard. I used the money to buy one speaker and I am currently broke,” he said.

Adding:

“I wish he could have given me Ksh500,000 to build a house. He could also have bought me a Probox which I would have greatly appreciated.

Since I went overboard and embarrassed myself and my people by holding the placard, the least he could have done is buy me a car as Sudi did for my colleague,” he stated.

Chemei, is now pleading with Kenyans to help him build a house and raise school fees for his children.

“I plead with Kenyans to contribute for me so that I can build a house and be able to take my children to school. Nowadays, I cannot even borrow since people think I am a millionaire,” he explained.

Chemei gained popularity after he took to the streets with a placard requesting the MP to help him advance his career in music.

“Hello Hon Ndindi Nyoro, I am Joshua Kiprop Chemei, gospel artist. I am suspecting you are my brother. My lookalike. Kindly support my talent,” the placard read.
