Dj Brownskin finally charged with aiding his wife’s suicide

Controversial DJ Michael Macharia Njiiri alias Brownskin was arraigned in Court for assisting his wife Sharon Njeri Mwangi’s suicide on Monday.

The DJ was charged with a second count of failing to use all reasonable force to keep his wife from committing suicide while knowing she was preparing to do so.

He was further charged with destroying suicidal evidence from his phone on June 1, 2023, having knowledge that the said evidence would be required in judicial proceedings.

He denied the charges before Milimani chief magistrate Lukas Onyina.

The prosecution opposed his release on bail.

He has been detained until June 15, 2023, when the court will give a determination as to his release on bond or bail.
