Kenyan man cons David Osiany after using poor couple pics to swindle KOT

Wa Ingo @phares20_4 on Twitter has been forced to apologize to Kenyans after duping them.

Wa Ingo recently turned to Twitter to wish his ‘wife’ Sarah a happy birthday, writing a nice post about how he was too broke to treat her on her big day.

Many people were moved by the message, including former CAS David Osiany, who paid for Sarah’s birthday dinner at a local restaurant in Western Kenya.

Wa Ingo also thanked Osiany for making his ‘wife’s’ day memorable.

“Today Sarah and I had good meals thanks to Osiany. He bought us food, wine, drinks and a cake and all I can say is that it was fun. He communicated with the restaurant management and reserved a table for us…” he said.

He claimed he used to work on mjengo sites in Kawangware, Nairobi, to make ends meet and relocated to upcountry (Butere) to start farming.

“Nairobi women would eat my earnings, leaving me broke hence why I called it quits and relocated to the village,” he said.

Some netizens called out the man for using an innocent couple’s photos to swindle Kenyans, but when asked, he denied it.

“Even Raila has haters. You know people can say anything; ignore them,” he said and refused to comment further on the scamming claims.

Wa Ingo shared photos from the party and surprisingly, the couple he used their photos were missing.

He had photoshopped one of the photos to appear as if it was Daniel Okutoyi, Sarah’s husband.

Later, Osiany exposed him and asked him to return the cash he had received from Kenyans of good heart.

“I didn’t ask anybody to send me cash. People did it willingly… Well, Osiany just called me and requested me to send back the KSh3,849 I received,” Wa Ingo said.

The remorseful man later apologised to Kenyans and organisations he conned and deceived, begging for forgiveness.

“And to the organisations i. e oribi, bon safaris, akothee foundation, tuko news, radio stations and the guy who offered to give me and “sarah” a trip to USA, plz cancel it🙏🙏
Am sorry sana,” he tweeted.
