“The window he allegedly fell from is quite small,” Jeff’s mother shares new details
Wacuka Mwathi has spoken out about the events surrounding her son Jeff Mwathi’s passing.
Wacuka told Wambui Mwangi that the maintenance man at the Redwood Apartment, where Jeff spent his final moments, found his dead in the basement.

She claimed that according to the surveillance footage, the caretaker knocked on doors at various tenants’ homes before arriving at DJ Fatxo’s home, but no one answered.
“The body was found by the caretaker at around 8.30 am. The CCTV also showed that the caretaker knocked on all the doors where he thought the body fell from, but the DJ’s house was not open,” she said.
Also, as captured by the CCTV, DJ Fatxo was spotted joining the crowd around the body but immediately left covering his face with his palms after seeing it.
The lifeless body of Jeff lay there with the brains having spilt out, the police coming to pick it up later.
She wondered why Fatxo never took an initiative after seeing the body, knowing very well that it was Jeff’s given he saw the clothes he (Jeff) was in as they had spent the fateful night together.
“DJ Fatxo was also seen coming from the road and he saw a crowd milled around the body. He looked at it once and covered his head according to the CCTV footage and he went to the house.

“Though he was outside he knew the clothes that Jeff had worn as they had spent the night in various clubs. He should have wanted to know what happened,” said the bereaved mother.
It was taken to the City Mortuary where it lay before postmortem and later burial.
Wacuka narrated that it was not an easy experience to witness the body of her son in the horrible state it was.
“The police told us his brains spilt after he fell and even told me I had to be courageous when seeing his body. When he fell, his trouser was halfway and the window he allegedly fell from is quite small,” she recalled.

Meanwhile, Fatxo, who is the big cheese of the suspects in the case, will be addressing Kenyans on the state of the matter.
Through his battery of attorneys, the Kikuyu entertainer will be giving a presser on Sunday, March 11.
“We the legal team representing Dj Fatxo led by Counsel Ndegwa Njiru, Ndegwa Mwangi and Gichiho wish to invite the media fraternity for a press conference regarding the circumstances surrounding the sad demise of Jeff Mwathi,” read s statement on Fatxo’s page.
