“Naomba kazi!” – Justina Wamae begs Ruto for job opportunity in his gov’t

Justina Wamae, formerly George Wajackoyah’s running mate, is once more looking for employment inside William Ruto’s administration.

Following the Supreme Court’s decision to confirm Ruto’s victory as announced by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) on August 15, Wamae congratulated him and begged him for a job.

“Justina Wamae is humbled, thank you Mr President @WilliamsRuto & @rigathi. The bible says, speak the truth, my truth is naomba kazi. Am ready to serve @SingoeiAKorir,” Justina Wamae tweeted.

Adding:

“Boss alinifukuza na leo ametangaza ako OPPOSITION. Bibilia husema: Speak the truth Kivutha Kibwana Governor Kiraitu Murungi Dr. Alfred Mutua, David Mwaure, Ruth Mutua are LOOKING for a job. Sembuse mimi?”

It’s the second time that Wajackoyah’s estranged former running mate is publicly begging the President-elect to give her a job in his government.

Days after IEBC declared Ruto as the President-elect, Wamae expressed her interest in serving as a minister in the Kenya Kwanza’a administration ahead of the Supreme Court’s verdict.

Wamae fell out with Wajackoyah shortly after pleading for a job in Ruto’s incoming administration. Roots Party stripped her of powers to run its affairs and appointed Yagnik Vinod Ramji as the party’s deputy in an acting capacity.

The decision was made through a resolution by the party’s National Executive Council (NEC) in a meeting held at the party offices in Karen, Nairobi.

“Following a resolution by the Roots Party NEC in a meeting held at the head office, we confirm the appointment of new party officials among them Yagnik Vinod Ramji as the deputy party leader,” Roots party said in a gazette notice.
