Ameoshwa! Andrew Kibe conned thousands of money by online scammers
Controversial media personality Andrew Kibe has become the latest Kenyan to fall prey to online scammers.
According to Kibe, he was conned over 40,000 shillings in 3 minutes by scammers who pretended to be Safaricom customer care.
Kibe took to his Twitter account saying:
“Scammers hawana aibu, this matha fakas got my number from Safaricom’s official twitter handle and have the guts to send me this message. Hii nikipata nikuweka taya! @PeterNdegwa_ @DCI_Kenya @EliudOwalo amkeni before tumalizwe.”

After his unlucky encounter, Kibe warned his followers to be cautious from scammers who impersonate Safaricom, otherwise they will part with their hard earned money.
“Don’t be like KIBE, this is not a Safcom line. But which is their official twitter handle maybe we save a Kinuthia like me from kuoshwa?” he said.
