According to her Facebook profile, Kibett says she was born on March, 1995. This means she is currently 26 years old.

In a previous interview, she revealed that she was born in Kapsowar Hospital located in Elgeyo Marakwet county.

Family

Kibett is a first born in a family of 3. She has one brother and one sister.

Caren, is a loving aunt…While she has no children of her own, Caren is a doting aunt.

She posted a photo of having fun with her nephew on his second birthday in May.

“Happy 2nd birthday to my nephew Kibbett. Aunty loves you so much,” she wrote.

Education

She completed her primary school education in Peace Junior Academy based in Nairobi county.

Afterwards, she joined Sing’ore Girls High School, a center of academic excellence and later joined the University of Nairobi where she pursued an undergraduate degree in broadcast production.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Caren studied broadcast production.

The University of Nairobi alumna completed her bachelor’s degree in studies in 2020.

But before then, Caren already had another stint as a sports journalist.

Career

The beauty said she joined K24 in January 2017 as an intern before rising through the ranks.

Caren was among hundreds of journalists laid off by Mediamax in June 2020.

After over a year out in the cold, she got a second chance.

In August 2021, she announced joining the national broadcaster, writing:

“I’m back! My new home is KBC TV. See you tonight for the latest in the world of sports.”

Her move came months after KBC’s big relaunch, where they unveiled a bunch of new faces.
