As he works to lose excessive weight, TV anchor Willis Raburu has seen remarkable improvement.

He demonstrated during a social media reappearance after a lengthy absence that his efforts are unquestionably paying off.

In an interview with Mungai Eve, the 35-year-old TV personality has revealed how he achieved the amazing results.
Raburu went ahead to say that he underwent gastric surgery that cost Ksh 900,000.
“I went for a gastric surgery…Mimi let me tell you I respect watu wanaenda gym , gym ni kazi, nilikua na good trainers but nilikua na loss weight but inarudi , by the time I was going for the surgery I was not doing well. I was 164kgs I needed the surgery because my blood pressure and cholesterol were high.”

Willis said fitness is a journey with ups and downs and takes time before one gets to what they want, but all in all, it’s worth it.

He said he started at 153kg and now at 137kg, thanking his coach for the efforts he put forward.

“Fitness is a journey full of ups and downs, it takes time, but it’s worth it. Thanks coach @o_maurice. Started at 153KGs now we 137KGs! #ItCanBeDone,” he added.
