Legendary American boxer Mike Tyson predicts He Will Die ‘Soon’

Mike Tyson, a former American world boxing champion, has recently claimed that he is becoming sicker.

On Thursday, the former heavyweight champion revealed that his passing was imminent to trauma and addiction therapist Sean McFarland during their live webcast, “Hotboxin with Mike Tyson.”

”We’re all gonna die one day of course; then, when I look in the mirror, I see those little spots on my face, I say, wow. That means my expiration date is coming close, really soon,” Tyson said.

The 56-year old further expressed his perspective of the mortal life with philosophies of happiness and security.

He opined that money does not equate to happiness and security as is the popular belief of many people worldwide.

“I always tell people — they think money’s gonna make them happy, they’ve never had money before — when you have a lot of money, you can’t expect nobody to love you. How am I gonna confess my love to you when you have $500 billion (about Ksh. 59 trillion)?” Tyson posed.

He added:

“The false sense of security. You believe nothing can happen. You don’t believe the banks could collapse. You believe that you’re invincible when you have a lot of money, which isn’t true. That’s why I always say money is a false sense of security.”

Similarly, the former heavyweight champion described how his wife, Lakiha Spicer, would occasionally declare that she needed more money to feel secure.

After declaring bankruptcy in 2003, Iron Mike, as he was known, is now thought to be worth $10 million (about Ksh.1.2 billion).

He was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder after retiring from professional boxing, yet he has previously stated that he has no fear of dying.
