Nadia Mukami recalls getting pregnant for Arrowbwoy in Zanzibar: “Tulichange style”
Musicians Arrowbwoy and Nadia Mukami received their first child together a few months ago.
The celebrity power couple after lost their first child through miscarriage.
Speaking to Eve Mungai, Nadia said she really wanted a child and told her boyfriend, Arrowbwoy.
“Alinisumbua sana. Alikuwa analia sana nikasema wacha nimpeleke Zanzibar. Tukachange style new position…the rest is history,” Arrowbwoy said.
Nadia talks about pregnancy journey
Nadia said her journey has been amazing and she can’t wait to hold her child in her arms.
“Pregnancy isn’t easy. Mothers don’t tell us the truth. Morning sickness can be throughout the pregnancy, you’re just sick. For me I had anemia and couldn’t eat because I used to vomit alot,” she said.
The Maombi hitmaker said she was in and out of the hospital during her first trimester.
“From the second trimester, there is a huge discrepancy between my face and body. My back is dark and the front side is light. It can alter your self-esteem especially if you’re in the limelight,” she said.
Nadia also responded to claims she was hiding her pregnancy, and she said:
“The reason I didn’t want to say it was because I wanted to be okay for me to be able to share the news with the world.”
Arrowbwoy said he was praying for Nadia’s safe delivery, saying he could not wait to meet his prince.
“She is a fighter. After we lost our first child, I decided to stick with her and when we got pregnant again, I told her I’ll support her through everything,” he said.
