Bahati Hints About Running for Presidency in 2037 General Elections

We must admit that singer Bahati Kioko, artistically known as Bahati, dreams big about his future and that of his family

From being an orphan living at a children’s home in Mathare, Bahati has risen to be one of the most successful artists in Kenya. God willing and if people of Mathare decides, he will rise to be Mathare member of parliament (MP ).

Apparently, being an MP will not be Bahati’s biggest achievement.

The Adhiambo hit maker has now hinted that he will be running for presidency come 2037.

A day ago, Bahati took to his Instagram handle to announce his aspirations.

He posted the famous photo of him sitting on Uhuru’s seat at a Jubilee function he was performing. Bahati did the unthinkable when he made President Uhuru to stand only for him to sit on the seat that is mainly preserved for the president.

The caption of the photo was more explicit about Bahati’s aspirations.

It read, “Call me Bahati the eighth.”

When calculated from the current Kenya’s president, Kenyans will probably be electing their eighth president in the 2037 general elections.

Bahati’s post was met by mixed reactions as some people believed that he would achieve his dreams while others claimed that his aspirations would remain to be a dream only.

Comedian DJ Shiti encouraged him, “kabisa Gheto president.”

One Ivynne Nasimiyu commented, “Amen. God above all.”

Another one, Melvin Kelvin declared, “Bahati the 8th .”

Of the negative comments,

Kimberly3val mocked, “atee.”

Erick_10Maina also mocked him by saying, “Na ile tu kizungu moja?”

Bernadatte Diana laughed him off by saying, “hiyo nayo ni ndoto tu.”

Bahati shocked many after he revealed that he was running for the Mathare parliamentary seat weeks ago under the Jubilee Ticket. He claimed that he was the best candidate for the seat because he understands the problems of Mathare people since he was born there.

His political dream was nearly squashed after his party asked him to step down in favor of a ODM candidate.

Bahati had to call for a press conference where he tearfully begged Raila Odinga and President Uhuru to let him run. Thankfully, his tears were answered as he was reinstated in the race under Jubilee party.

As fans wait to see if he will clinch the Mathare MP seat, fans are more eager to see if he will become Kenya’s 8th president as he has predicted.

Meanwhile we wished him the best.
