Musician and businesswoman Akothee is undoubtedly one of the best mothers going per what she shares and post on social media.
According to Akothee she has five children and lost unborn twins. Some of them have different fathers. She is now engaged to her former manager Nelly Oaks.
Recently, Akothee broke news about her elder daughter Vesha Okello landing the job at Unga Ltd where she is the brand ambassador.
The fact that Vesha got employed by Unga Ltd just a month after her mother was appointed by the company as its brand ambassador made some people conclude that Akothee used her influence and contacts to get her the job.
She denied claims that she used her connections to secure Vesha a job adding that her daughter was hired on merit.
Akothee took to social media to jot down a lengthy piece explaining how she has never accorded her children preferential treatment even when employing them in her own companies.
She wrote:
“I hope you pick a leaf from Vesha Shillan Awour Okello.
“The only thing I have achieved positively in life is raising responsible go-getters. Well all my children have different strengths and that’s what I invest in. To start with, I Esther Akoth Kokeyo have never asked for a job for my children, not even in my companies, they send a proposal to me and join me in the daily running of my businesses.”
