He revealed that his father died when he was very young, forcing his mother to raise him single-handedly. In his birthday post, he appreciated his mother for struggling to raise him and prayed to God to forgive and bless his mother.

James Mwangi is the man who transformed banking in Kenya. He is the CEO of Equity Bank. He is accredited for evolving the banking system to accommodate members of the lower social class.
