At least 20 presidents and government leaders have confirmed their attendance at President-elect William Ruto’s swearing-in event, according to Interior Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho.
Speaking to the media on Saturday, September 10, Kibicho added that the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, the event’s location, expects to host at least 60,000 Kenyans.
“At least 20 Presidents and Heads of Governments have confirmed attendance. This is a public function which everyone is possibly welcome,” said Kibicho.
He added that the gates would open at 4 am and that everyone should be seated by 7 am.
