Tanasha Donna did not spend her entire childhood in Kenya, thus her decision to leave is not surprising. Her parents were an Italian father and a Kenyan mother.

When she was 11 years old, she left the nation and moved to Belgium, where she lived with her step-father. She joined NRG radio just after she came back to the nation to compete in Miss World Kenya.
