“I’m tired of all this, I’m a God-fearing person” – DJ Fatxo locked out of his house

Lawrence Njuguna, better known as DJ Fatxo, a Mugithi artiste, was frustrated after being denied access into his Kasarani home.

The musician attempted to get admission to his house on the night of Saturday, May 20, according to an Instagram video uploaded by SPM Buzz.

The residence had been shuttered due to the ongoing investigations into Mwathi’s murder.

The short video shows the entertainer with a few friends outside the opulent property.

He got out of his car, but no one let them into the flat.

DJ Fatxo expressed his displeasure with how he was treated to journalists following the event.

“I’m tired of all this conflict. I’m a God-fearing person. We have a law and I think when it gets to this point, somebody should be guided.

I don’t want all this drama. I feel my life is threatened and still somebody is keeping me out of my house from 7 pm to midnight. It is not fair to me,” DJ Fatxo said in an interview.

DJ Fatxo was found not guilty of murder in the death of interior designer Jeff Mwathi, which allegedly occurred in the same location.

Duncan Okatch, his lawyer, said that the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) investigation discovered no evidence linking the entertainer to Mwathi’s death.

He added that the ODPP had also requested an inquest into the young designer’s death, which was first ruled a self-murder.

“It is clear that there is no single shred or iota of evidence to suggest any remote criminal culpability by our client or suspicion thereof,” he said.

He explained that Fatxo was not in the house when Mwathi was reported to have fallen to his death in the said apartment.

“In fact, it is very clear that our client was not even at his house at the material time that his friend, Jeff Mwathi met his death,” he added.
