“Nilishika billioni nikiwa 17 years, kwetu tuko na helicopter sita” – KRG The Don brags about his wealth

Karuga Kimani, often known as KRG The Don, has referred to himself as one of Kenya’s richest musicians.

According to KRG The Don, he is worth over KSh 5 billion.

The artist disclosed his net worth as KSh 5 billion. In 2008, he was 17 years old and earned his first million.

“I am approaching KSh 5 billion, pesa iko hii dunia (There’s money in this world). I made my first million in 2008 when I was 17,” he said during an interview with TV 47.

In another interview with a local YouTuber, the artist reiterated that her made his first billion at the age of 17.

“Nilianza mziki last year, lakini mimi ni mkubwa kuliko kila mtu…You cannot compare me with Akothee, I am the richest artist in Kenya…Sisi kwetu tuko na helicopter 6,” he said.

The Mathogothanio hitmaker revealed his father used to give him a lot of money while still in school.

He said he spent the money wisely, and that’s how he got rich.

“I was always a smart kid, and from an early age in High school, I started making money. My dad used to give me a lot of money, he used to give me like KSh 150k, and I only needed sh 40k. I was keen and used it wisely.”

The flamboyant musician ventured into the music aged 16, and his interest has risen since then.

The trained deejay has released several dancehall and hip-hop tracks under G Hood Records. He has collaborated with other artistes such as Jiggy, Khaligraph Jones, Boondocks, DJ Lyta and Sailors.

Fast Cash Music Group

He manages the Fast Cash Music Group, which offers audio and visual recording services.

As reported by Kiss 100, he claimed most consumers of his music are in Europe and the United States of Americ, where money is.

The 31-year-old disclosed he has several real estate and transport investments to his name. The musician said he spends an average of KSh 100,000 daily buying fuel and lunch as he dismissed claims he’s into wash-wash.

“When someone is down, and they do not want to work hard, they can create any story. They start saying it is illegal business since I have friends who have been mentioned in the ‘wash wash’ thing,” he defended himself.

On October 13, he showed off his exquisite salon and barbershop on Instagram. The salon is located in Kilimani

According to Who Owns Kenya, KRG The Don owns Kilions Group.

The company deals with the construction of roads and buildings.

“My money comes from business. I am into construction. I have a company called Kilions Group that builds roads and buildings,” he said.

Taraja Safaris

The musician has interests in the tourism and hospitality industry, which earns Kenya billions in foreign exchange.

He owns a travel and tours firm dubbed Taraja Safaris. It offers ticket services, safaris and car hire services.

He also revealed he has several yards where he sells cars and owns properties in real estate, but he did not divulge details.
