Samidoh officially introduces Karen Nyamu as his wife

Today, Mugiithi musician Samidoh and Karen Nyamu traveled to Nakuru to attend his nephew Geoffrey Mwathi’s funeral.

Senator Karen Nyamu, the mother of his child, and other of his friends were with him.

Samidoh introduced Karen as “Mama Wairimu” while speaking to his family and the villagers.

Samidoh remarked, “Come and say hi mama Wairimu,” as Karen walked to get the mic.

Jeff Mwathi, according to a police report died at Mugiithi singer Fatxo’s house.

He died on 22nd February, after falling from the 10th floor of an Apartment where the singer lived.

A report aired on Inooro TV, says that the singer had contacted Jeff for a business meeting in Ruiru where they spent their day.

Samidoh is an uncle to the late Jeff Mwathi.

“We used to talk on the phone most of the time but, God’s will was done,” he said.

Karen said she was there to condole with the family.

“That is what God had planned.”

According to his eulogy, Mwathi was born on 1999, 19 December. He was the firstborn in a family of two.

He was hardworking and obedient. He was a student at Nibs college.

His special friend and fiance were identified as Faith Wairimu.

The family said he was healthy, and outgoing until when he mysteriously met his death on the 22nd Feb 2023.

He died at the age of 24 years. Police are investigating the cause of his death.

Police investigation

Police are investigating the death of interior decorator Geoffrey Mwathi.

According to his uncle, Muchoki Mwathi, the late interior decorator was found dead with his pants pulled down to his knees.

Pathologists at the City Mortuary, where an autopsy was performed, were unable to determine whether the late Mwathi had been sexually assaulted because it had been 72 hours since the incident.

According to statements filed by the disc jokey and the two men present at his house during the incident, the late Mwathi jumped to his death.

They claim to have discovered Mwathi’s death after the DJ returned home around 9 a.m., informing them of the situation outside the apartment.

Meanwhile, Mwathi’s family has dismissed the suicide narrative, claiming that the interior decorator had never considered suicide.

Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
