“Heaven ni hapa na hell ni hapa, I am not a Christian anymore,” Xtian Dela denounces Christianity

Arthur Nyongesa Mandela aka Xtian Dela, a media figure, has declared that he is no longer a Christian.

This is a far cry from the man pictured dancing and singing along with his mother, Bishop Naomi Nyongesa, to upbeat gospel music.

Xtian was raised in a Christian environment and faithfully attended church up until the day he stopped returning home, claims Naomi.

Xtian claimed to have experienced something that led him through a dark hole in a recent Tuko SESH podcast that was posted on YouTube.

“I am not a Christian anymore; knowing the truth; heaven ni hapa na hell ni hapa (heaven and hell are both here). We are karma,” he said.

This comes after his throwback video singing alongside his mother Bishop Naomi Nyongesa during their happier days emerged.

In the clip on YouTube, mother and son are heard singing a melodious gospel track christened Shikilia Yesu (Hold onto Jesus).

It is a memory that shows how at one point in time, the two were closer than the proverbial two peas in a pod and spent days glorifying God.

At that point in time, neither of them, even in their wildest dreams, ever imagined a day they would not see eye to eye.

Dela hasn’t gone home in 4 years

In the latest development, Naomi went public with news that she has not seen her celebrity son for over four years.

She added that Dela’s disappearing stints started in 2019, and every time she tried asking him to come to visit her, he would always offer an excuse.

“I tried reaching out several times but he kept telling me he was busy, so I got to a point that I just gave up, but deep down I am hurting so much,” she said.

While weeping bitterly, the distressed mother disclosed that she has no idea why her son ran away because they had no disagreement.
A mother’s curse?

The video also corroborates her sentiments that she raised Dela in a christian home and expected him to turn out different from the path he chose.

“I guess he got scared of coming back home after choosing a different direction in life,” Naomi told TUKO.co.ke.

Arguably, the one thing that depicts just how hurt the mother is stems from her controversial sentiments on Dela’s child.

In what loosely came out as a curse, the bitter mother said that she hopes the child her son sired with lover Fatma Banj abandons him in future as payback.
