Belinda Awuor Oselu, a sister of Baba Mona, passed away on March 14 and was buried at her marital residence in Ayweyo, Kisumu county.
On February 24, Baba Mona along with his daughter Mona and two sisters perished in a horrific automobile accident.
The four were on their way to Nairobi when their automobile went off and rolled numerous times in Londiani, killing them instantly.
Awuor passed away a week after she published a picture on Valentine’s Day showing off some yellow flowers she had received from a friend and questioning why they didn’t choose red roses instead.
During the burial of Belinda, Mona’s biological mother Cecilia, was given a chance to say a word. Dressed in blue jeans trousers, and a black t-shirt with a photo of the four late family members in front and ‘Fare thee well’, she waved at the mourners before Nancy Sunday was introduced.
In the video shared by Cyprine TV, Nancy, who was dating Baba Mona before his death, wore a black free dress with a matching sling bag and sunglasses.
“Nancy salimia watu…” Mona’s grandfather said, adding: “Ni mama Mona mdogo.”
Baba Mona’s girlfriend heartbroken
Two weeks ago, TBaba Mona’s partner Nancy penned touching messages remembering him.
Nancy, who is yet to come to terms with Baba Mona’s death, re-shared the video, revealing he asked her to record it before she left the country.
“Before leaving, he was like. ‘We must do a video for Valantine’s'” she captioned the video.
Nancy also shared a video of her partner on a flight and captioned it:
“Babe tho biro, but this came too soon.”
