TV Station Owned By CRB Listing Boss Raided By Auctioneers

Metropol TV’s office and studio equipment was seized during an auctioneers search, and the TV station then proceeded to sell the confiscated items to pay off its obligations.

According to information obtained by Kenyans.co.ke, the media company has amassed enormous debts, and the creditors have hired auctioneers to help them recover the money they are owed.

The station has experienced financial difficulties in recent years, which have caused salaries to be late and left it unable to fulfill its financial commitments.

Office furniture such as chairs and tables, studio control gear, laptops, and keyboards are among the items up for auction.

“27 office chairs, 2 office desks, 3 cameras, sofa set, server, control equipment, microwave, 3 printers, ten screens, 10 work stations, 2 cabinets, 2 reception desks, mixer, 2 speakers, 15 broken chairs, Kyocera photocopy machine, 16 computers, water dispenser,” the auction notice read in part.

“On July 7, 2022, at 10.30 am at Phoenix House 3rd floor, seven computers, 2 printers, 16 office chairs, 2 water dispensers, bookshelves, 6 office desks, and a bench.

“2 display counters, office desks, 2 office chairs, 8 pcs mouse, router, 12 laptop bags, 3 phone adapters, 15 power adapter chargers, 44 phone covers, 22 screen protectors, 68 USB cables, flash disks, 6 hard disks, charger, 4 flash disks, 5 keyboards, small oppo speakers, 2 multi-functional mobile devices, 2 one plus 9R,” the notice added.
