Jumwa, Charles ‘Jaguar’ Njagua, and Kimani Ichung’wa attended the ceremony on Saturday, May 21.
Another plane is heard approaching one chopper shortly after it lands.
According to reports, the arriving plane was transporting the second in command to the ceremony.
As a result, Jumwa, Jaguar, and Ichung’wa were compelled to flee to safety so that the approaching chopper could land.
The outspoken Malindi politician took advantage of the opportunity to flaunt her fitness in a video.
Jumwa, dressed in the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party colors of black trousers and a yellow top, sprinted so fast that Jaguar and Ichung’wa couldn’t follow up.
The three are seen briefly glancing at the oncoming airliner while scrambling to safety.
Jumwa, who is running for governor of Kilifi, posted the video on Facebook, implying that their opponents will not be able to match their zeal.
