Njogu wa Njoroge: My former CEO demanded I kneel down to get my job back

Former Kameme TV presenter Njogu wa Njoroge has revealed that his decision to quit radio and join politics did not sit well with his former boss resulting in tears and frustration.

Njoroge said a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company he worked for asked him to rescind his decision and that he had to kneel if he wanted to get back his job.

Making the revelation on his Facebook page, the former radio presenter further noted that he did not receive his dues as a result of his decision to join politics.

“When I will finally unveil this photo, I will tell you about how it brought seven months of tears, frustration and desperation,” he captioned a photo of him and blurred out William Ruto.

“Where a CEO demanded that I should rescind my decision and kneel to get my job back. They took everything that I had saved for years. They took away my dues,” he added

Njoroge told his fans and supporters that despite the frustrations, he considers himself a winner even though he is yet to be the ultimate winner

“I’m already a winner even before being the ultimate winner,” said the former radio presenter.

The former Kameme TV presenter gracefully accepted defeat after losing in the UDA nominations.

Acknowledging the defeat, Njoroge thanked everyone who stood by him financially and spiritually, noting that his vision had been overtaken by a noble one.

“My people of Njoro. I respect your decision. For those who stood by me, God bless you abundantly,” read his Facebook post.

“Our ambition, vision and dream for Njoro has been overtaken by a better vision. We are satisfied,” the post read on.

Njoroge, who was to vie for the Njoro constituency seat, further wished Charity Kathambi, who won the nominations, the best, praying God uses her to make the lives of the people of Njoro better.

Njoroge confirmed on Friday, January 21, 2022, that he had officially joined Deputy President William Ruto’s UDA and would be vying for the Njoro constituency seat during the General Election.

He was received by the DP, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro and Kikuyu legislator Kimani Ichungwa at the deputy president’s Karen residence.

Minutes after becoming a UDA member, Njoroge promised to help DP Ruto in spreading the Bottom-Up message in Njoro constituency, Nakuru County.

“There is time for everything as the good book of the Lord says, and as I transition to the next phase of my life I ask for your prayers and support,” he said.
