Brenda Jons gets born-again, dedicates her life to Christ months after announcing she is gay

Brendah Jons, a content producer and actress popularly known as Mama Kingstone, has publicly attested to her conversion to Christianity.

Jons wrote a lengthy Instagram post about her relationship with God and how she has frequently become disoriented.

Although she didn’t fully understand what it meant to be born again, she said that she was saved for the first time 13 years ago.

“I remember saying the words, “my life will never be the same again,” she wrote.

Eight years later, Jons said a pastor did an altar call and this time she knew exactly what it meant.

For her getting saved meant that she had to lay everything down and serve God in truth and in spirit.

“I knew it was what I was made to do and so I walked to the altar and officially gave my life to Christ and immediately started serving Him. I started reading my Bible more than I ever have and began to see things I had never seen before. Wow! The amazing gifts God had put in me started to manifest and He used me as a vessel mightily. ”

Along the journey, something happened and for once in her salvation, she wondered why God would take away someone she loved yet she was just serving Him faithfully.

The death of someone special in her life took a toll on her faith.

“Through campus, I kept trying to get back but kept failing over and over,but I knew He was still ordering my steps,” she wrote.

A few years later, Jons said she got back on track and God placed her on social media and she started ministry through comedy.

Jons said she wanted to talk about sexual sins but she did not succeed.

“Maybe that’s how some of you knew me…I was deep in faith and I honestly miss those days,a lot! God had really inspired me to really lead and talk about sexual sin and a good friend once told me that the demon that you publicly fight, will be used to greatly test your faith..I didn’t take it deeply but Lord oh Lord… It unfolded that same way…I fell off my walk of faith and I both engaged in and fought sexual sin, wueh,” she said.

God sent many people to talk to her and reminded her that her identity was in serving Him but since she felt she was too soaked to sins, she said she rejected His call.

Jons has since gotten saved and is ready to serve God.

“HE MADE ME WALK AROUND THE WHOLE ESTATE JUST TO GET ME NEXT DOOR…for His glory’s sake. Wueh 😩 and now here I am, telling you that He is real and despite any private or public sin I had, I am fully forgiven fully healed and all the chains are broken and grace has taken that place now!I AM BORN AGAIN! that’s my testimony, bye now!!!!”

A few weeks ago, she announced to her fans that she no longer identifies as a gay woman.

Through a candid conversation on her YouTube channel, her fans noticed that rainbow flags were missing on her Bio.

“Why did you remove the rainbow flags from your bio?” A fan asked

Brenda replied; “That time of my life was a phase that I had to go through and I went through it and I’m no longer in that phase.”

She went on to say;

“As humans we grow every day, things change every day, we develop every day and discover ourselves every day. And with time, I am realizing that wasn’t really my identity. It wasn’t who I am but more of a phase …I am not saying for everyone is a phase , am just saying my story.”
