Man Customizes Chair Gift for Raila Odinga, Refuses To Sell It

Netizens have been enthused by a video of a rastaman who created a lovely chair as a gift for Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance.

Felix G-cord posted a video of the man praising Raila and displaying the chair on Facebook.

The hardwood chair has Raila’s name engraved on it and is embellished with Azimio’s signature hue. On its top rear, it also bears a crown-like pattern.

The man said that the chair was constructed especially for Raila and was not intended for sale.

“Hii ni kiti ya Raila, hii si kiti ya kuuza (This chair belongs to Raila, it is not for sale),” said the man.

He then noted that Raila’s late son Fidel Odinga was his good friend.

“It is all about the state house. Fidel used to be my friend and let me tell you something, Kenya you got to be wise. Rise up because it is all about Raila Odinga,” the rastaman continued.

The customised chair had attracted a customer who was willing to buy it but the carpenter wasn’t ready for the trade.

He told the female customer that the seat is made for Raila. He then told her that he will make another one for her.

“I’m telling you that this seat is not for sale. This is for Raila Odinga. He will come for it.

Even if you own a car this chair is for Raila, I will make you another one but this is for Raila,” he told the customer.

Kenyans react to his chair:

Ras Madedas: “So creative, this is how people should represent themselves and gain from the campaigns si kuongoja kubebwa upelekwe venue kupiga makofi na nduru ya miambili.”

Dee Dave: “And you tell me Wajackoya ain’t Railas project..I come in peace>”
