Flamboyant Police Officer Kipchumba Shows Off Shoes Worth KSh 102k Imported From Britain

Albert Kipchumba, a police officer, purchased himself a pair of shoes for KSh 102,000 as a gift to console himself for the day he went barefoot on a school excursion.

The flashy police officer brought the sneaker from Britain, which cost KSh 102,000.

The policeman reflected on his time as a student at Stoughton Primary School in 1985 in a post on social media.

Their organization planned a field trip to Mumias Complex Primary School, Nzoia Sugar Company, and Mumias Sugar Company.

At the age of nine, the child Kipchumba was very eager to go on the school tour with the others, but he lacked shoes to wear with him.

“I visited all my friends whom I knew had shoes to help me. I requested their parents but in all the houses I visited, I was not given shoes,” he recalled.

On the eve of the trip, when he visited a friend named Muu who was several grades behind, luck seemed to shine on him.

The only person to offer him shoes was Muu, but when he tried them on and saw they were too tiny, the hope at the end of the tunnel swiftly faded.

At the Nzoia Sugar Factory, according to Kipchumba, he was the only student without shoes and going barefoot was not particularly frowned upon.

He somehow made it through the trip to the Mumias Sugar Factory with his friends before joining his class for evening classes.

The youngsters became the talk of the school and the village after the expedition, but the group returned home.

“I imported a pair of shoes from Great Britain at Ksh 102,000 just to commemorate and celebrate the day I went for a school tour without shoes,” he revealed.

In a previous account, the policeman disclosed that his uncle had spanked him for taking the lead in class.

He admitted that he went to his uncle’s house anticipating praise after finishing first in his Form One class at Marakwet High School.

The next day, however, the orphan was restrained and severely beaten by his uncle, aunt, and three other family members.

He said that as an orphan with no one to defend him, the family harassed him, which forced him to begin living alone at the age of 14.
