A journalist from the UK, identified as Simon Clark is currently facing the wrath of Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) after filming Kibera Slums in Nairobi, as he referred to it as ‘Africa’s largest urban slum.”
Many of Kenyans expressed their anger accusing him of travelling to Kenya to publicize poverty and humiliate Africans yet most of European countries are facing the same challenges.
According to his Twitter bio, Simon describes himself as Journalist and Author who has previously worked for The Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg.
On 28 June, he visited the Kibera slums in Nairobi where he documented his encounter with the residents.

“Rich and poor live side by side in many cities and rarely meet. For example, London’s Canary Wharf financial district is in Tower Hamlets, a deprived area.”
“I discovered untold riches in Kibera. “Kibera people are rich in ideas,” George said. “The only thing they lack is the capacity and the funding.”
