“Building a house is not easy” DJ Mo Reveals He Has Spent 2 million already

Celebrated DJ Mo and Pastor Size 8 are currently building their own multimillion mansion.

On April 20, 2022, the celebrity couple held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the beginning of the construction work for their new house.

The event was attended by many people among them renowned content creators Terrence Creative and his wife Milly Chebby, Wajesus and many YouTubers.

It was also disclosed that the piece of land DJ Mo and Size 8 are constructing their house is located in Daykio, which is on Kiganjo Road off Thika Super Highway.

The event commenced with Size 8 and DJ Mo cutting a ribbon paving way for the construction to begin.

The couple’s house will have six bedrooms, a prayer room, a home theatre and a studio. DJ Mo and Size 8 revealed that they had invested Ksh40 million to build their dream retirement home.

The celebrity couple started constructing their mega-mansion shortly after Ringtone mocked them for renting a big house in the leafy Lavington suburb.

The couple and children had earlier moved into a multi-million property in an unnamed address in the area.

Revealing the new development, Dj Mo joyously posted photos of their sleek cars juxtaposed to the palatial house.

The two lovebirds join a growing list of celebrities who own properties in exclusive estates that gobble up thousands of square feet.

Ringtone published a controversial list in March this year ranking the richest celebrities in Kenya and the mansion they own or rent.

DJ Mo in a recent post on social media gave his fans an update on the construction project. He lamented that his mansion was draining his bank account as he had already spent Ksh2 million yet the construction was far from over.

“Building a house is not an easy feat. Imagine this house has already cost me more than Ksh2 million and it’s not even done. But I thank God for everything,” DJ Mo wrote.
