Police officer raises school fees for poor form one Girl

A police officer who offered to assist a schoolgirl who displayed a poster in town requesting well-wishers to help her pay for her education pays her school tuition for a year.

With the support of his friends, Vanpagal Mohamed Ahmed was able to fund Evalyne Wairimu’s one-year school fees as well as some cash for her personal use, according to a Facebook post.

“As I promised today I went to see Evalyne Wairimu who carried a placard on which she appealed to well-wishers to fund her education. Together with my friends, we were able to pay for her 1 year school fees to the School Account and also handed cash for her personal use and the mother to buy food,” stated Vanpagal.

Evalyne Wairimu boarded a matatu from Kajiado to Nairobi’s CBD to beg for fees after her mother was only able to raise Ksh 1000 out of the 9,440 first-term costs.

She carried a banner on which she asked for donations to help her pay for her studies.

When Vanpagal discovered this tale on social media, he was moved and requested some of his coworkers to aid her.

In addition, the officer added that the mother and the girl were overjoyed and wished them all well.
