Why IEBC Didn’t Clear Keroche Boss Tabitha Karanja For Nakuru Senate Seat

Entrepreneur Tabitha Mukami Muigai-Karanja, the founder and CEO of Keroche Breweries Limited, are among the Nakuru County aspirants who appeared before the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) for clearance yesterday.

However, the UDA Senatorial nominee now known as Tabitha Karanja Keroche was not cleared by the IEBC for failing to carry crucial documents to the meeting.

Here’s her statement after visiting the IEBC:

“Visited the IEBC Nakuru County office but Unknowingly I forgot two important documents which are Crucial for clearance:

1. I wrote a bankers cheque with an amount meant for male senatorial candidates instead of female category.

2. I forgot to carry my UDA Nomination Certificate which is in my custody”

According to her, the IEBC gave her another chance to comply before the end of Tuesday, May 31.

“However I’m given appointment for tomorrow morning. Thank you all for your support and prayers,” she concluded.
