Another James Bond: Man hangs on CS Peter Munya’s chopper in Meru (VIDEO)

A man hanged himself on Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya’s helicopter just after it took off, creating a tense situation at Kiegoi market in Meru County.

A man is seen comfortably perched on the helicopter in an online video, waving to the gathering of onlookers.

The man had to disconnect from the helicopter for 50 seconds until the pilot finally did it.

The pilot can be seen peeking through the glass, seemingly checking to see if the man has indeed leaped to the ground.

Later, the helicopter took off without incident.

After the pilot lowered the helicopter a short while later, bystanders grabbed hold of the man and brought him down. People attempted to beat him up, which caused a small ruckus.

“Wachana na yeye! Wachana na yeye! Wachana na yeye (Leave him alone! Leave him alone! Leave him alone!),” a man’s voice is heard in the video as members of the public tried to administer mob justice on the man.

The chopper later flew without any hitches. The CS had just finished addressing the residents of Meru at Kiegoi market when the incident happened
