Diana Marua clocks 1M YouTube subscribers, becoming first woman to hit milestone

Kenyan content creator-cum-artiste Diana Marua Bahati has achieved a remarkable milestone by surpassing one million subscribers on YouTube.

With 699 videos, her channel is among the most viewed, with over 183 million views, making her the first Kenyan female YouTuber to achieve this milestone.

Taking to Instagram, Diana shared a message of gratitude that read; “Team Diana we did it 🥳🥳🥳 First female in Kenya to reach a million YouTube subscribers 😭🙏🏼 I’m still pinching myself! thank you for supporting my journey since day 1❤️ I love you all 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 #goddid🙏🏼.”

Diana Bahati, a Kenyan content creator, has gained significant influence in the entertainment industry. She shares her life events, family matters, and personal life stories before transitioning into music.

Her recent milestones include the birth of her children, her breakout songs, and engagement and gifting sprees.

Marua joined YouTube in August 2019 and became an artist in November 2021.

At the time, Marua said she was now eying to become Africa’s female content queen.
