“When I was young, I wanted be a lawyer, now am guitar man” – Samidoh confesses

Mugithi artist Samidoh has shared what his aspirations were growing up.

According to the father of five, he wanted to be a lawyer.

Contrary to his expectations Samidoh went on to be a Police Officer and a singer.

He is among the most celebrated Mugithi artists in Kenya.

Showing part of his KCPE results, Samidoh reminisced that his dream to be a lawyer is still valid

Going by the results he was Index 1.

“Huyo index number one wa kwenu anafanyanga nini siku hiziI aspired to be a lawyer. Saa hii mimi ni One man guitar AKA. Singing police man Dreams not shattered bado nakula mbuku.”

His manager Moses Marite also shared his results saying he was index

“Wale wanauliza Samidoh alipata ngapi kwa hesabu, alikuwa Index 001 mimi Index 005…All I ever dreamt was to became an engineer , sasa mimi ni memeer(memer)

If he had become a lawyer, Samidoh would have been in the same field as his baby mama Karen Nyamu.

Unknown to many, Nyamu is a lawyer who owns Njeri Nyamu & Co Advocates.

Many have always joked that police officers are not learned as the grade needed to get recruited is nowadays a D.
