Panic as sick mother of four vomits dead rat in Nakuru

After a middle-aged sick woman vomited a dead rat, panic gripped Ndaragu hamlet in Njoro, Nakuru County.

In the incident on Wednesday, the mother of four, who had been sick for more than a week, said she began feeling uneasy about midnight and began vomiting.

Locals, led by her father and the village elder, told the journalists at the woman’s home that someone had publicly disagreed with her and was suspected of being behind the unusual episode.

Following the encounter, the woman went back to bed, and she was still sleeping when villagers flocked to the village in the morning after her father informed neighbours.

Following the incident, elders are expected to gather and perform a cleansing ritual.
