Mwenda Thuranira: How I acquired my first-ever property at only 22, later succeeding in Real Estate

Mwenda Thuranira, CEO of MySpace Properties, has proven his selflessness by taking it upon himself to share wisdom nuggets with the youth.

The respected real estate expert took his time to encourage young people, particularly those under 30 years old, to try their hand at real estate because it is one of the best venues to test one’s’muscles’.

Taking to Twitter, Mwenda utilized his own real-life experience to counsel young people on the benefits of real estate, claiming that discipline and long-term dedication are two of the components required for success.

In order to emphasize his argument, the MySpace CEO recalled how, at the age of 22, he purchased his first house.

He revealed that he had to spend KSh 250,000 for his first residence, with an additional six months of payments required to become the legal owner.

“I think more people under the age of 30 need to embrace long-term commitments, real estate could be a good mechanism to flex that muscle.

I remember the first property I bought I was 22 years old it cost me 250K and 6 months to pay pale Maili Saba,” Mwenda wrote.

Many Kenyans praised the business entrepreneur and his company Myspace for providing Kenyans with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become house and business owners.

The strip mall layout consists of a row of retailers connected by a common walkway or sidewalk.

The stores, sometimes known as shopping plazas, are mostly found in urban and suburban regions near major roads or highways, making them convenient.
