George Magoha died ahead of his young brother’s burial

George Magoha, the former Education Cabinet Secretary, died at the age of 71.

Magoha died on Tuesday, January 24, in Nairobi Hospital, after suffering a heart attack.

He is survived by his wife and son Michael Magoha.

Magoha’s death comes just a month after the death of his younger brother, Alex Nyabera Magoha.

Nyabera passed on in Allen, Texas in the United States on December 6, 2022, but the cause of his death was not made public.

The cortege was slated to leave Aga Khan Hospital Funeral Home in Kisumu on Saturday, January 28, 2023, ahead of his interment.

More heartbreaking, in 2021, the family was thrown into mourning following the death of their other brother.

Charles Agunga Magoha died on Tuesday, August 31, but the cause of his death was also not made public.
