Bahati Bukuku: My husband divorced me because of miscarriages
Famous Tanzanian musician Bahati Bukuku said that her miscarriages caused her marriage to fail.
She said that her now-ex-husband was impatient during an interview with Upendo Media.
“I used to get pregnant and get miscarriages. That is when my marriage started getting cracks because he would get different opinions from people. That is what led to my divorce. My marriage was also broken by outsiders’ advice.”
Bukuku claims that she went through a difficult time and that some of her most popular songs were written during that time.
“I passed through such a hard time. No one loves stress but the devil knows that for peace not to exist there must be challenges.”
Despite knowing her now-ex-husband for years, according to Bukuku, he changed and turned into a whole different person.
The artist claims to have known her ex before she became well-known.
He made the offer to finance her music videos because he recognized something special in her that others didn’t.
“He sponsored my videos. I never lacked money not even once, at the time I was naive I would go for shows and not get paid. I would call him to come pick me up at the airport. Sometimes he would approach a female friend of mine and send her to bring me gifts.”
Adding;
“When my hair was looking bad she would lie to me that she wants to treat me to a free hair session. At the time I did not know my ex had already paid for everything.”
Despite everything she had to endure, Bukuku said she would never treat her ex-husband with disdain since he had a decent side.
