On the show, Dida is engaged to JJ, a young man from a wealthy family, and they are in love.

1. Dida is married
In real life, Dida, whose real name is Winnie Bwire Ndubi, is married to Mombasa-based actor Dan Sonko.
The two are madly in love and always pamper one another with love ad feature prominently on each other’s social handles.
The two are always serving couple goals on social media and fans love them.
2. Dida married her late best friend’s hubby
Sonko lost his wife in May 2017 after giving birth to their second child at a hospital in Mombasa.
The father of two was left with two young kids to raise and life has never been the same for him since then.
He sank into depression and Dida, his late wife’s best friend came into his life and they decided to settle down and raise his two sons together.
In a previous interview with Radio Jambo, Dida said:
“I knew Dan through the acting industry and his wife (Dru) was my friend.” She said when Dru was alive, she didn’t have a romantic relationship with Sonko.
“I don’t think I’ve betrayed her. I never thought he would be my lover at any point in life because he had a family at that time,” she said.
3. She’s a wonderful mother
The actress accepted to marry Sonko with his kids and she has been an amazing mum to the two sons.
In May 2022, Dida celebrated her young step son whose mum died after giving birth to him, with a heartwarming message, which read;
“My little munchkin . I can’t believe you’re five already. Just the other day you could barely pronounce your name, now you’re challenging me intellectually. I love you with everything in me and nothing will ever change that. We drive each other bananas over the silliest of things but You made me the luckiest living girl on planet earth. Happy fifth son. In a previous media interview, Dida revealed she met Sonko man years ago in the acting industry.
The two have featured in different local movies and are currently acting on the Citizen TV soap opera Sultana as Dida and Wakili Loko.
