Who is Lilian Muli?

Lilian Muli is a Kenyan television personality who works as a Senior News Anchor at the Kenyan free-to-air television channel owned by Royal Media Services, Citizen TV.

She hosts her shows which air on Friday and Saturday News at 9 PM and Weekend Editions, coincidentally with the Fashion Watch Show on Saturday and One on One interview on Friday after the 9 pm News.

Lillian Muli is 40 years old as of 2020. She was born on May 4, 1982, in Kenya. She celebrates her birthday on May 4th every year.

Muli attended Lovington Primary school before she went to Loreto Convent Msonagri for her high school education. Upon her graduation, she went to Daystar University, where she attained a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Newscasting. Afterward, she went to UoN for a degree in Strategic Management. She also pursued her MBA in Strategic Management at the University of Nairobi.

Muli is the daughter of the late Henry Muli (father), who was a prominent Lawyer, and Peninah Muli (mother), who currently resides abroad, in Bangkok Thailand.

Muli was born as a second born and the only girl of her family of three siblings.

Speaking of her personal life, Muli has dated a couple of guys in her life, including Moses Njunguna Kanene, whom he was the first she tied the knot in September 2009 at the prestigious Windsor Golf Club in a white and pink themed ceremony.

However, before that, charming Lilian had just completed the afternoon news brief and immediately, followed an exciting engagement in front of colleagues. The duo had known each other for about four years.

After their wedding, the couple’s photos were seen trending all over the internet, for they had spent their honeymoon in Seychelles. A year later were blessed with a son, Joshua.

However, after five years of their marriage, speculations arose that the couple had split due to their on and off relationship, disloyalty to spousal mishandle. The Nairobian exclusively revealed that Lilian filed for divorce at the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Milimani in Nairobi, on January 7, 2016, citing “adultery, cruelty and desertion” as reasons for calling it quits.
