The gunman approached Njoroge’s Honda CRV from the opposite direction, and after gaining a clear line of sight, the attacker produced his weapon and fired several bullets, according to CCTV evidence.

Despite being shot, the deceased attempted to flee, as seen by the jerky motions of the vehicle, but the gunman continued to fire, killing the driver on the spot.

He then ran away from the crime site, hopping into a white Toyota getaway car.

Because he was wearing a black cap that obscured his face from the cameras, the attacker’s identity was not captured.

The dead was shot in the chest, according to authorities. According to a police report, six 9mm spent cartridges, four cellphones, and the deceased’s personal goods, including nine identity cards, were seized at the scene.

It is unknown who murdered Njoroge or why they did so.
